A. Draft a "Day 0-30 Premera execution plan"

Include:

  • Week 1 outcomes (environment + data + first workflow baseline).
  • Week 2 outcomes (pilot workflow with synthetic data).
  • Week 3-4 outcomes (quality loop, decision-support outputs, internal demos).
  • Success metrics (cycle time reduction, review quality consistency, stakeholder confidence).

B. Define engagement operating rhythm

  • Weekly executive update template (wins, blockers, next steps).
  • Risk register (data quality, access, model hallucinations, policy mismatch).
  • Escalation path and response time expectations.

C. Build your FDE skill ramp list

Prioritize:

  1. Clinical policy interpretation + criteria systems (InterQual/MCG context),
  2. EHR/FHIR integration patterns,
  3. Production AI reliability patterns for decision-support tooling,
  4. Stakeholder management for payer clinical operations teams.
