My Responsibilities (from objectives.md)

Primary: GTM Pipeline Ready by Monday Jan 13

  • Tier 1 - Hot leads: Personalized emails drafted in Gmail (Jose, Dan, Bauman, etc.)
  • Tier 2 - Engaged leads: Apollo sequence for people who opened previous emails
  • Tier 3 - Non-responders: Apollo sequence for previous contacts who never engaged
  • Tier 4 - Net new: 500 prospect list ready for Jan 19 blast

Technical Setup:

  • Configure Google Workspace MCP (Gmail + Drive)
  • Set up Apollo API integration (partially done)

Deliverable: Everything teed up so we can click "send" on Monday.


Current Status

Tier 1 Hot Leads:

  • Jose (HURC): Context documented in jose.md, strategic options generated, aligned via Slack. Next: Draft and send email
  • Dr. Bauman: Not started - needs workflow alignment
  • Dr. Oginzki: Not started - needs workflow alignment
  • Dan: Not found in system yet - need to identify
  • Others: TBD after workflow alignment

Infrastructure:

  • Contact management system: ✓ Created (research/contacts/ with markdown files)
  • System backlog: ✓ Created (system/backlog.md)
  • Workflow documentation: ✓ Added to CLAUDE.md
  • Hot leads pipeline tracker: Pending - on agenda for tomorrow

Technical:

  • Google Workspace MCP: Not started
  • Apollo API: Partially integrated

Today's Focus

Build infrastructure for hot leads workflow before executing individual outreach

Contact Management System

  • Created research/contacts/ structure for key relationships
  • Built research/contacts/jose.md with full relationship context

System Improvements

  • Created system/ directory for OS improvement tracking
  • Built system/backlog.md with Quick Index + Detailed Proposals

Alignment & Planning

  • Created morning agenda for Jan 9 with hot leads workflow discussion
  • Identified need for alignment before proceeding with Dr. Bauman/Oginzki
  • Set up daily work log structure (this file)

Thinking/Decisions

Key Insight: Hot leads outreach is more complex than "just draft emails"

  • Need to generate strategic options for each contact
  • These are important relationships - can't rush
  • Requires thinking about approach, not just execution

Workflow Issue Identified:

  • Both Michael and Thomas have relationships with these contacts
  • Need coordination on who documents which contacts
  • Need decision on pipeline tracker (markdown vs UI)
  • Need approval process for key emails

Decision Made:

  • Don't proceed with Dr. Bauman/Oginzki until workflow alignment tomorrow
  • Set up infrastructure first (contact files, system backlog, daily logs)
  • Better to align now than redo work later

Blockers

  1. Hot leads workflow - needs alignment with Thomas (on agenda for tomorrow)
  2. Google Workspace MCP - not started, required for Gmail draft integration
  3. Contact identification - "Dan" mentioned in objectives but not found in system

Tomorrow

Morning Meeting:

  • Align on hot leads workflow with Thomas
  • Decide: Who documents which contacts?
  • Decide: Pipeline tracker approach (markdown/UI)?
  • Decide: Email approval process

After Alignment:

  • Proceed with Dr. Bauman and Dr. Oginzki based on decisions
  • Start Google Workspace MCP setup
  • Continue contact documentation

Notes

  • This daily log format is working well - provides both accountability context and progress tracking
  • Conversations with Claude are part of thinking/processing, not just execution
  • Thomas can mirror this pattern for his own work

End of Day Assessment (4:52 PM)

Critical path to Monday: Morning meeting tomorrow (Fri) is the gate for hot leads execution. Can't proceed until workflow alignment happens.

What's left on my plate:

  • Tomorrow (Fri): After alignment, execute Tier 1 emails + set up Tier 2-3 sequences
  • Weekend if needed: Catch up on anything not finished Friday
  • Monday: Ready to send

Pace observation: This pace is right - more important to get it done right than done quickly. Infrastructure built today (contact system, alignment setup) was necessary work. Execution speed will increase once workflow is established.

Decision: Stopping at 5pm. Tomorrow's work is blocked on morning meeting. Ready to execute Friday after alignment.
