  3. Prep for investor calls — 5 new calls in next 2 weeks (Pear 2/19, Define ~2/18-19, Violetta 2/26, Sidekick 2/26-27, Bain 2/27).

Thinking / Decisions

  • Strategic fork with Dan Wilson: Don't decide on call — gather facts first. Three options: full merge, subcontract for Premera, or pass. Need to meet the team before committing.
  • Premera contract type: Nathan recommended company-to-company (better for fundraising). Worth the slower process.
  • Capacity question: If Premera says yes at 40h/week, can both founders bill full-time AND run VC process? Probably need to split — Thomas on Premera, Michael on fundraising.
